You should contact the International Youth Bureau (BIJ : Bureau International Jeunesse). The BIJ is a service of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation set up to manage various international non-formal education programmes aimed at young people in Wallonia and Brussels who are not afraid to move, alone or in groups. The programme you are interested in is "Tremplin Jeune". Within it, the "Tremplin Langues" programme allows you to learn another language by getting involved in the work of an association.

As an indication, for English, Dutch or German, you can self-assess and continue your further training free of charge via one of these two sites: for Walloons; for Brussels residents.
  • It is up to you to find an organisation ready to welcome you, to help you, a documentation centre is available in the BIJ Mobility Info Space.
  • The country in which you will do your traineeship can be a European country or any other country where the language is not spoken at European level.
  • Projects of minimum 3 weeks, maximum 12 weeks financed.
  • For students, the project must take place during school or academic holidays.
  • A Tremplin Langue project cannot be :
