If you are an employee, self-employed or civil servant (male or female), you are entitled to adoption leave to welcome the child you adopt into your family.
You can ask your employer about the conditions applicable to your scheme (conditions vary from one scheme to another).
Key points
Adoption leave is not granted for intra-family adoptions (the child is already part of the household at the time of the adoption project).
